How to Connect and Disconnect TradingView

TradingView allows AquaFutures traders to connect their Tradovate account for chart analysis and trade execution.

Before connecting your account to TradingView, you must first activate the TradingView Add-On within Tradovate.


Step 1: Activate the TradingView Add-On in Tradovate

Open Tradovate Settings

Log in to Tradovate and open Application Settings.

Open Add-Ons

Navigate to the Add-Ons section.



Activate TradingView

Locate the TradingView Add-On and click Activate.


Step 2: Restart Your Tradovate Session

After enabling the Add-On:

  1. Log out of Tradovate.

  2. Log back in.

This ensures the TradingView integration is properly activated.


Step 3: Log In to TradingView

Sign in to your TradingView account.

After logging in:

  1. Open any chart.

  2. Locate the Trading Panel.


Step 4: Connect Your Tradovate Account

Inside the Trading Panel:

  1. Select Tradovate from the list of supported brokers.


  2. Click Connect.

A connection window will appear.


Step 5: Enter Your Tradovate Credentials

When prompted:

  1. Select Demo as the connection type.

  2. Enter your Tradovate username.

  3. Enter your Tradovate password.

  4. Click Connect.

Use the same credentials provided for your Tradovate account.


Step 6: Verify the Connection

Once connected successfully:

  • The Tradovate connection status will appear inside TradingView.

  • Your available trading accounts will be displayed.

You can now trade directly through TradingView using your connected Tradovate account.


How to Disconnect TradingView

Step 1: Open the Trading Panel

Navigate to the Trading Panel at the bottom of your TradingView chart.

Step 2: Open Connection Settings

Locate Tradovate and click the settings (gear) icon next to the connection.

Step 3: Disconnect

Select Log Out to disconnect your Tradovate account from TradingView.

The connection will be terminated immediately.


Troubleshooting Connection Issues

If your Tradovate account does not appear in TradingView:

Verify the Add-On Is Activated

Confirm that the TradingView Add-On is enabled within Tradovate.

Restart Tradovate

Log out and back in after activating the integration.

Verify Login Credentials

Ensure you are using the correct Tradovate username and password.

Refresh the Connection

Disconnect and reconnect the account through the Trading Panel.
